Get help with data costs
The Department for Education is working with mobile phone companies to provide help with data costs incurred if your child is learning online. You may be able to get extra data if:
- Your child is working from home
- You don’t have a fixed broadband connection
- You cannot afford to buy additional data
- Your mobile phone provider is participating in the scheme
The scheme is being managed by the DfE and the school must apply on your behalf. It is important to note that not all mobile providers are participating and that offers differ between providers.
If you are successful, your mobile provider will contact you via text message. This could take some time and is out of the school’s control. Please do not contact the school for progress updates as we will be unable to provide them.
