Year 6, Year 1 and Reception children

The Year 6 class is now full and unfortunately, no other places in this age group will be available for the moment.  Only children whose parents told us they would be coming back have a place. Unless the school has confirmed that your child has a place, please do not bring them in before contacting the school. Limited places remain available for Reception and Year 1.

Key workers’ children

Read the latest Government information for key worker parents by clicking here. This guidance was updated on 1st June 2020. If you are a key worker and would like to request places at school (any year group),  please click here. Unless the school has confirmed that your child has a place, please do not bring them in before contacting the school.

Virtual Lessons

Please read the following communications regarding virtual lessons:

Letter about virtual learning 29.06.2020

St Bernadette’s Virtual Learning Code of Conduct

Children who are not in school can access daily one-hour lessons from Miss Halliwell and Miss Sullivan live-streamed over Google Meet. The timetable can be found here. Google Meet links can be found in your child’s Google Classroom. If you have problems with Google Classroom or Google Meet please click here. If you are still having difficulties or need a password, click here. Please make everyone in your home aware that the lesson is going on as people may be inadvertently seen or heard. The weekly class Google Meets will continue and will include children who have returned to school, so it is a great opportunity for a catch up with friends. Details are posted in Google Classrooms.

Learning at home

Every Monday teachers  upload timetables and activities for children who are not in school. They can still continue to use their CGP books as well as a wealth of activities on the school’s home learning website.  Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.
