Reddish Vale Country Park

We are lucky to have the huge outdoors of Reddish Vale Country park on our doorstep.reddish vale

The school playing fields overlook the Vale, making it immediately accessible for children to use in many curricular areas.

In recent years children have spent memorable times such as: using the disused railway tunnel as an impetus for creative writing; map work; treasure hunts; outdoor play and visits to the ponds to feed the ducks.

Reddish Vale Visitors Centre has provided guidance for many pond-dipping and mini-beast hunting trips. Visits have also been made to Reddish Vale Animal Farm and café.
